Fix Loose Sliding Door Lock

This sliding glass door lock was not working.

I can be lazy sometimes but c mon. Tighten the screws with a phillips head screw driver. Place the door handle over the screw holes on the interior side of the door frame followed by the screws and hand tighten the screws. Use a wire brush to clean off the dirt or debris.
Using an awl or small screwdriver push the button in all the way and at the same time pull off the handle. I always said that i was going to replace it but never got around to it. Apply a lubricant to both upper and lower tracks to keep the door hardware clean and operating freely. Sometimes the sliding door may have a latch that works by sliding a small notch up and down.
